Power Failure

When a power failure occurs, emergency lights automatically turn on in the stairways, hallways and the garage, and remain on long enough for safely entering or leaving your apartment for your security. Management replaces all  batteries for the emergency lights. The lights will remain on for approximately 90 minutes.  Enter or leave the apartments only  by way of the main stairway. Do not use the west and east wing stairways as they are not equipped with emergency lights. Please be careful with candles, use a flashlight or other battery-operated devices.

 

Elevator

Please do not panic if you are stuck in the elevator. The elevator is equipped with a battery-operated emergency light and telephone. If you need help, use the telephone inside the box with the phone symbol.  When you pick up the phone, its automatically dials the 24-hour hotline for our contracted elevator service company. Tell the operator that you need help, and give them Villa Fontana’s address (1150 Coast Village Road, Montecito)
